I had this show in my library for a while. This the legendary 7-25-01 show which prominently features the Flecktones. I remember like yesterday when we were chatting with the person who gave me the IEM first.
This an absolutely legendary show that doesn't get talked about near enough. I've always found it surprising that 7-25-01 hasn't been a Trax release. Make sure you check out #41 and Bartender from that show. Jeff and Roi sound amazing on the double saxophone outro on Bartender. It's unequivocally one of the best versions of Bartender the band has every performed.
I am Absolutely in love with this #41 (this is me after my first listen). From the moment that Jeff steps on stage for Bartender, this becomes an outstanding show.
This is probably the best Watchtower they've ever performed. All of the versions played in 2001 are stellar but this one ascends to another level. Jeff's Stairway interpolation is incredible.
The original source is the IEM that has been circulating for a while (which has been edited, for privacy reasons, removing the stage banter). I mixed the IEM with a second source, which is the AUD tape from Craig Willoughby (Source: Neumann ak40s). Thanks again to Craig for letting me use his tape.
Remastering notes:
Again,I had to show in my library for a long time, and it took me a while to decide to give it a try and rework it. Today, I can say that this has been probably the most challenging remaster that I have attempted.

Working at an IEM is really difficult and challenging, for many reasons.
The remastering sessions were done in three steps. See txt file in the download folder for further details.
Note: the final part of the show (and the encore) has a lower quality, as you can clearly notice. This is an issue with the original source which was impossible to fix. Fortunately, the midrun with Bèla and the Tones has a much better quality.
Thanks:
Thanks to Craig Willoughby for letting me use his tape. Your pull was excellent, and I recommend anyone to listen to it, to get a different sound experience.
Thanks to djamieb (Jamie Chura) for the precious tips in the final phase of mastering. Thanks, bud.

Just reading how people talk about #41 and Bartender gives you goosebumps. I'm looking forward to discovering the set. Summer tour 2023 Volume 1 hasn't let the speakers cool down yet and Volume 2 is already in the starting blocks and now this one. Great, thank you very much to everyone involved.
Excited to check out the final results, dude! 👍
Saw the notification and RAN to my MacBook 🤣 can't wait to give this one a listen! Thank you DMBremasters crew!!!
